President Trump appoints Colorado Springs man to US Air Force Academy Board of Visitors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A Colorado Springs man was appointed to the US Air Force Academy Board of Visitors by President Donald Trump.
Texas Congressman August Pfluger welcomed Jon Hotaling to the board along with two new members. Hotaling was appointed to the board by President Trump, and Senators Chris Coons and Jacky Rosen were appointed by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
According to the US Air Force Academy, the board provides independent advice and recommendations on matters related to “morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods and other matters.”
“I’m greatly honored to serve the American people and President Donald J. Trump to help our future military leaders protect our lives and uphold the laws and values that have made our country the greatest civilization for good in the history of mankind,” Hotaling said.
Erika Kirk, Senator Tommy Tuberville, Dan Clark, Doug Nikolai and Dina Powell were previously appointed to the board by the president.
