Harvest of Love is an annual food drive with an over 25-year history in Colorado Springs and Pueblo area schools. Join us Oct. 23, to help kick off the Harvest of Love food drive! We’ll be taking your non-perishable food donations Saturday, Oct. 23 at the King Soopers on Constitution in Colorado Springs. Can’t make it out to that location? All Colorado Springs King Soopers locations will be taking donations through Nov. 19!
What: Take a Turkey to Work Day
When: Friday, Nov. 19 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

KKTV 11 News is partnering with Care and Share Food Bank, and Security Services Federal Credit Union to provide turkeys to families in need this holiday season.
Friday, Nov. 19, is Take a Turkey to Work day, and donation is easy! Bring a frozen turkey to one of the participating King Soopers locations or organize a Take a Turkey to Work day at your place of business and drop off at the same locations! If you can’t donate a turkey, you can donate online, go to https://careandshare.org/turkey. For every $15 donated, Care and Share is able to provide a turkey to a family in need this holiday season!

The 38th annual Festival of Lights Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 beginning at 5:50 p.m.! Kick off the holiday season with one of Colorado Springs’ favorite family traditions. Enjoy the amazing lighted floats, marching bands and, of course, Santa! This year’s theme is “Songs of the Season”! The parade will start on St. Vrain Street and go south on Tejon to Vermijo Street. You can watch the parade in person or watch it LIVE on kktv.com or on our Facebook page.
