‘Sexually violent predator’ on supervised release moves to Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is notifying the community following the supervised release of Clifford Wayne Chance.

Chance is currently registered as living at the 300 block of Swope Avenue. He is described as being a white male, 70 years old, 6’0” tall, 150lbs, with gray hair and blue eyes.
Chance’s criminal history reveals that he was convicted in 2014 of sexual assault on a child. In 1997, he was convicted of sexual assault on a child, and in 1982, he was convicted of sexual assault in the second degree.
CSPD will “make all reasonable efforts to ensure that Chance registers as a sex offender and that he understands his responsibilities as such.”
“The Colorado Springs Police Department takes his presence in our community very seriously and is intent on insuring he conducts himself in a lawful manner and that our citizens remain safe and aware,” CSPD said.
