Spill the Tea: Does your company ‘Rock the Rockies’?
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - It’s Wednesday, so grab your mug and gather ‘round, because it’s time to “Spill the Tea”!
Each week, we partner with the Southern Colorado Business Forum and Digest to bring you the top business headlines from the region.
And let’s just say: This week’s tea rocks!
Last month, the Colorado Chamber of Commerce launched a new program intended to highlight the top businesses statewide!
These aren’t the top businesses because of their profit margins -- it’s because of the workplace culture they foster for the employees!
In other words, the state wants to hear from employers: Does your company “Rock the Rockies”?
“As the statewide voice of business, we know that Colorado’s quality of life makes it one of the most desirable places to live and we want to celebrate the companies setting the standard for what it means to work in Colorado,” said Colorado Chamber President and CEO Loren Furman. “Companies that Rock the Rockies is a new way to recognize employers creating workplaces that elevate our state’s reputation and drive our economy. We’re looking for companies going above and beyond to build the best cultures for their employees, inspiring them to be proud of where they work. We encourage businesses across every corner of the state to participate in this inaugural program!”
Companies wanting to enter need to apply by clicking here before Nov. 1. Instructions from there are as followed:
Participating employers will complete a two-part assessment. Part one will be an employer questionnaire asking about policies and benefits and part two will include a confidential and anonymous employee engagement survey. Those that make the Companies that Rock the Rockies list will be announced in early 2025 and will be honored at a special awards event hosted by the Colorado Chamber in May 2025. The ranked winners will also be announced at that time.
Eligible companies must have at least 15 employees (full- or part-time), be in business for at least a year, and have a physical operation in Colorado.
