Colorado Congressman Doug Lamborn is stepping away from politics according to interview on Richard Randall show

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado Congressman Doug Lamborn is stepping away from politics, according to an interview he had on KVOR during the Richard Randall show.

Republican Rep. Lamborn served House District 5 in Colorado for 17 years. He announced he was not seeking reelection, meaning all three Republican-held congress seats will be open.

“His accomplishments include keeping U.S. Space Command in Colorado Springs, serving on critical committees, establishing the Pikes Peak National Cemetery, getting 250+ provisions into the National Defense Authorization Act, vital and unsurpassed support for Israel, securing $3 billion for Colorado Springs’ military construction, providing critical constituent services, securing federal funding for the I-25 “Gap,” legalizing the Manitou Incline for public use, and carrying out many pro-life, social conservatism, and religious liberties efforts,” part of Lamborn’s website reads.
