Crash forces lane closures on I-25 north of Colorado Springs

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A crash on I-25 forced lanes to shut down, backing up traffic north of Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Department of Transportation reported the crash just north of Palmer Divide Road just before 3 p.m. on Sunday.

CDOT said they shut down the three right lanes on northbound I-25 as first responders arrived, leaving one lane open.

So far, officials haven’t said what caused the crash, nor the extent of the damage.
