IHOP’s all-you-can-eat pancakes are back
(CNN) – IHOP is reviving its all-you-can-eat pancake deal from earlier this year for the back-to-school season.
The deal now runs through Sept. 15.
The company said it wants to help families when their schedules are tight and their wallets are pinched from buying school supplies.
In the past, it was held at the start of the year.
To get the deal, order any breakfast combo and get a short stack of buttermilk pancakes at no additional cost.
You can also order a stack of five buttermilk pancakes for $5.
In both cases, after you place one of those orders, all-you-can-eat pancakes are served in stacks of two.
While all-you-can-eat is one restaurant strategy to bring customers in, others are counting on more value menu items to draw interest.
McDonald’s, KFC, Taco Bell, Burger King and Wendy’s are among those touting $5 value meal specials.
