Broncos re-sign Free-Agent QB Kevin Hogan

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. The Denver Broncos re-signed free-agent quarterback Kevin Hogan to a one-year contract, President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway announced on Thursday.

Hogan (6-3, 218 pounds) is a fourth-year player from Stanford University who has played eight games (1 start) during his NFL career with Denver (2018) and Cleveland (2016-17). He spent the entire 2018 season on the Broncos’ active roster after being claimed off waivers from Washington on Sept. 2.

Selected by Kansas City in the fifth round (162nd overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft, Hogan has completed 60-of-101 passes (59.4%) for 621 yards with four touchdowns and seven interceptions (61.5 rtg.) during his career. He also has rushed for 176 yards and one touchdown on 18 attempts (9.8 avg.).

A native of McLean, Va., Hogan attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., and was born on Oct. 20, 1992.
