AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) - A local child in Colorado Springs battling a rare type of cancer rang a ceremonial warrior bell alongside his family and friends, but also a special visit by Denver Broncos mascot, Miles!

According to officials from Children’s Hospital Colorado, 3-year-old Jacob rang the ceremonial “Fight Like a Bronco” warrior bell outside the Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Anschutz Campus in Aurora Thursday. He was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare type of pediatric cancer.

Jacob rang the bell alongside over 60 of his family and friends, including Miles the Mascot.
