Josh Suggs Named to USL Team of the Week

Colorado Springs, CO (October 10, 2017) – The United Soccer League officially announced today that Josh Suggs was named to the USL Team of the Week.

Suggs was named to the USL Week after a strong performance against Sacramento Republic in the 1-0 win in Switchbacks 2017 home finale at Weidner Field. Suggs broke down the left side in the 37th-minute where his cross found Kevauhgn Frater to give the Switchbacks a 1-0 lead. Suggs played a major role in the attack as well as helping Dan Jackson and the backline get the shutout.

The Switchbacks will complete their 2017 USL campaign where it began, at the Switchbacks head to Tulsa on Saturday at 6:00 PM MT at ONEOK Field for their season finale after being eliminated from the playoffs thanks to Energy FC's 4-1 win on Sunday over Swope Park.
