Lounge chairs sold on Amazon recalled after amputation reported

(CNN) – Some outdoor lounge chairs are being recalled due to the risk of amputation.

The recall involves nearly 1,200 Giantex lounge chairs sold on Amazon between 2023 and 2025.

The company received a report that someone lost a finger while adjusting the chair.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission asked consumers to stop using the chairs immediately.

Consumers can contact Giantex for a refund.
