5 people taken to hospital following shuttle bus crash near Denver International Airport

DENVER (KKTV) - Multiple people were taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning following a crash involving a parking shuttle near the Denver International Airport.

According to Denver International Airport, the crash occurred near 71st Avenue and Jackson Gap, on the airport’s property. Airport representatives said two vehicles crashed, and an offsite parking shuttle bus rolled onto its side.

According to the airport, five people were taken to the hospital. Denver Police said two people were transported with serious injuries.

Airport representatives have encouraged people to avoid the area, and police have said drivers should expect delays as they investigate the incident.
