Cat Cafe featuring adoptable cats now open in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A new cat cafe is open in Colorado Springs to visit and maybe even find a new furry friend!

Today, Comfort and Joy Cat Cafe opened its doors. Located at 615 S Nevada Ave., the cat cafe has partnered with the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter to help find the cats a forever home.

With the amount of socialization they get from the cat cafe, a co-owner says the kitties will be ready and well-suited for a family.

“They’re not stressed out, they’ve been visited by many people and they’re socialized more with the other cats here,” said Co-owner of Comfort and Joy Cat Cafe Carol Guinta.

They serve coffee, tea, kombucha, smoothies and snacks.

The cat cafe is open every day except for Tuesday and prices range by customer age.
