Surprise Homecoming At Sky Sox Game

The soggy weather at Friday's Sky Sox game didn't put a damper on one giant surprise. Two kids were on the field getting ready to say "Play Ball" when they got the surprise of a lifetime.

There was crying, hugging and lots of smiles. Captain Nathan Zahn surprised his wife Alicia and their kids Andrew and Ava at the Sky Sox game.

Capt. Zahn served two tours in Afghanistan. He's been gone for five months and got to come home early.

"I was confused when she said, 'Nate.' I was like, 'He's not here,'" said Alicia. "I had no idea!"

"I landed about nine hours ago," said Zahn. "So, I've been very anxious."

Zahn is stationed at Schriever Air Force Base. He says he can't wait to sleep in and eat breakfast with his family.
