A cyclist has died after he was hit by a dump truck.
On June 26, 59-year-old Steve Studt was riding his bike on a two-lane road in Fort Collins when a Freightliner reportedly tried to pass him. Authorities say the driver was forced to move back into the lane because of oncoming traffic.
According to Colorado State Patrol, Studt was then hit by the driver and thrown under the truck's rear tires. He was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
Studt was pronounced dead at the medical center on Sunday.
Colorado State Patrol says charges will likely be filed against the driver in the next few days.
