An argument turned deadly Friday night in Pueblo after police say one of the people involved pulled out a gun.
Just before 10:30 p.m., police say occupants of two vehicles began yelling at each other in front of the Rawlings Public Library on 100 E. Abriendo Ave. Someone in one of the cars pulled out a gun and began firing at the other vehicle.
A 28-year-old man in the back seat of the victim vehicle was shot in the upper torso. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
According to officials, the victim vehicle and its passengers left before police arrived at the hospital.
The incident is believed to be gang-related. Police are searching for the gunman and the vehicle he was traveling in. He's believed to be Hispanic and accompanied by another Hispanic man. They were reportedly driving a dark-colored Ford Mustang.
The victim vehicle has been located.
The incident is currently under investigation.
