Phillip Lindsay made the most of his 14 carries Sunday, averaging 7.9 yards per rush against a Steelers defense that ranks ninth in yards allowed per run.
And though Lindsay’s 2-yard touchdown run gave the Broncos the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter, perhaps his most memorable run came midway through the second quarter. On first-and-5 after a Pittsburgh neutral-zone infraction, Lindsay slid through a narrow gap in middle of the Steelers’ defense and turned on the jets for a 32-yard carry before being pushed out of bounds.
