Tickets, tailgate and fan bus information for playoff game at Mines

PUEBLO, Colo. (Nov. 12, 2018) - The No. 9 Colorado State University-Pueblo football team battles No. 14 Colorado School of Mines Saturday, Nov. 17 at 12 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs. The game will be played at Marv Kay Stadium in Golden, Colorado and here is how you can #BackthePack.

Both teams went 10-1 overall and 9-1 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play to share the league title. Mines (No. 4 seed) defeated CSU-Pueblo (No. 5 seed) 35-21 in Golden, Sept. 15. The Pack have won eight straight since the loss. The Orediggers fell in week 10 on the road at Dixie State University.


Tickets are being sold by Mines and are on sale now. Tickets are $15 for reserved, $10 for general admission (all visitor's section) and $5 for students, seniors and active military. Fans can purchase tickets online at the link below. Be aware the tickets purchased online will have to be picked up at Will Call at the stadium on gameday, which is located on the home side of the stadium. Lot K parking (accessible at 11th and Maple Streets) is $10 on gameday, other campus parking is free.


There will be limited seating on a fan bus to Golden on Saturday for the price of $50 per person. The cost includes a ticket to the alumni tailgate, but DOES NOT include a ticket to the game. Fans who ride the bus must purchase their own ticket either at the game or online. The bus will depart at 8 a.m. Saturday from the ThunderBowl parking lot. The bus will depart from Mines immediately following the conclusion of the game.

The CSU-Pueblo Alumni Association will be holding a tailgate starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $10. The exact tailgate location is still being determined.
