ThunderWolves and Ewing tie for second place at RMAC Fall Preview

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (September 18, 2018) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Golf finished in a tie for second place at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Fall Preview at the Tiara Rado Golf Course.

Though they shared second place with Dixie State University, the ThunderWolves along with the Trailblazers ranked as the top RMAC teams at the event. The University of Tampa won the event.

CSU-Pueblo collectively shot a 615 (+47). They finished day two with a team score of 311 (+27).

Senior Courtney Ewing (Pueblo West, Colo.) matched the team's finish by tying for second place. Ewing shot a combined +4 (146). She carded a +4 (75) on day two of the tournament. Ewing ranked second in the 88-golfer field with an even par total on par four holes.

Jolene Kam (Sr., Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia) carded a +13 (155). She finished in a tie for 19th place. Kam shot a +7 (78) on day two.

Reigning RMAC Golfer of the Week Orakorn Thirayatorn (Sr., Meang Khonkaen, Thailand) joined Kam in a tie for 19th place. Thirayatorn finished a +13 (155) after shooting a +9 (80) on day two.

Rachanok Rahulpan (Sr., Pathumthani, Thailand) jumped 12 spots on day two to finish 32nd. Rahulpan recorded a +7 (78) on day two. She posted +16 (158) over the two-day event.

Amy Sutheran (Fr., Hartlepool, Durham, England, United Kingdom) shot a +9 (80) on day two. She finished in 63rd place with a + 26 (168).

The Pack will look to continue its strong start to the 2018-19 season Sept. 23-24 when the ThunderWolves travel to the Mustang Intercollegiate. This tournament will be held at the Estrella Golf Course in Goodyear, Ariz.
