Third Times the Charm for new State Champion Lewis-Palmer

DENVER After finishing short in back-to-back years, Lewis-Palmer can finally call themselves 4A state champions.

"That's all you ever want, when you're a kid, you want to go get a trophy with your brothers and that's what we did." said senior Joel Scott.

The Rangers were not only champions, they were perfect. They completed the perfect, undefeated 28-0 season.

"We're unselfish and really care about each other and we just work as one. We work hard every day and so it's a good recipe for success." said senior Matthew Ragsdale.

"The ride that this team took us on, holy cow, I am blessed. Could not ask for better young men off the floor or on the floor, this is a great group." said Head Coach Biull Benton.

This is the Rangers first state basketball title since 2013.
