St. Mary's Josephine Howery drops school-record 41

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - St. Mary's senior captain Josephine Howery had a career night, scoring 41 points in a blowout win, 82-39 Thursday against Vanguard.

The Pirates point guard set a new school record with her 41 points, slicing through the Coursers defense with ease all night. According maxpreps.com, Howery is averaging more than 20 points per game. Her effort advanced the Pirates to a 7-1 overall record on the season.

St. Mary's heads on the road next to play league opponent Trinidad on Saturday.
