DENVER - With his double in the first inning tonight, Trevor Story became the first shortstop in MLB history to record at least 40 doubles, 30 home runs and 25 stolen bases in a season. He is the 16th player (19th time) to reach those marks in a season, the third Rockies player (Larry Walker in 1997 & Ellis Burks in 1996). Full list of players below.

Additionally, Story joins Alex Rodriguez in 1998 as the only shortstops in MLB history to record at least 30 home runs, 100 RBI and 25 stolen bases in a single season. Story is the only shortstop to reach those marks and hit 40 or more doubles (Rodriguez had 35 doubles in 1998).
