Riley Snyder Earns Spot on Mountain West All-Freshman Team

Riley Snyder of Air Force women's basketball was named as one-of-five freshmen on the 2019 Mountain West All-Freshman team, announced by the conference office Sunday.

Snyder, a six-foot forward out of Fruita, Colorado, is the Falcons' third leading scorer, averaging 9.9 points per game on the season and 10.4 points per game in league play. She has 13 double-figure scoring marks in 28 appearances, highlighted by a 22-point showing in the overtime win against Nevada, January 19. She has the most starts by any freshman on the squad (25) and averages 26.7 minutes of playing time per game.

Snyder and the Falcons return to action in game two as the No. 10-seed against No. 7-seed San Diego State who downed Nevada to take the seed. Game two is slated for a 4:30 PT start in the Thomas and Mack Center, Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
