Palmer Ridge wins "Battle For Monument" over Rangers in OT

MONUMENT, Colo. - The Palmer Ridge boys basketball team edged out a close game versus rival Lewis-Palmer, winning in overtime, 53-50 Wednesday.

The Bears (5-8) win three of their last four games with a victory, and move up to 3-1 in the 4A Pikes Peak basketball league. The Bears will travel to Sand Creek for a game Friday, while the Rangers (8-6, 3-2) head to Air Academy.

The Palmer Ridge girls basketball team rallied from 11 down at halftime, overcoming Lewis-Palmer 50-43. Bears sophomore Mia Womack finished with 18 points.
