NCAA BOUND: Pack advance to NCAA Postseason as No. 5 seed, will play at No. 4 Mines

INDIANAPOLIS The Colorado State University-Pueblo football team has earned a bid to the 2018 NCAA Division II Championships as the No. 5 seed in Super Region Four and will travel to play No. 4-seed Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado Nov. 17.

This is the seventh overall postseason appearance (1982 NAIA) for the program and sixth appearance in the NCAA Division II postseason (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015*, 2017, 2018 - 2015 appearance was removed from NCAA records due to self-reported violation of ineligible players).

Both teams went 10-1 overall and 9-1 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play to share the league title. Mines defeated CSU-Pueblo 35-21 in Golden, Sept. 15. The Pack have won eight straight since the loss. The Orediggers fell in week 10 on the road at Dixie State University.

The game will be played at Marv Kay Stadium and is tentatively set for a noon kick.
