COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team was picked to finish ninth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference according to the coaches' poll released Tuesday.
Colorado School of Mines earned the top spot in the poll, receiving ten first-place votes, totaling 120 points overall.
Westminster earned 104 total points and one first-place vote, just ahead of Colorado Mesa with 103 points.
Regis picked up one first-place vote and the 96 points is good for fourth in the poll.
UCCS, Fort Lewis, Dixie State, and MSU Denver sit fifth through eighth, ahead of the Pack's ninth place slot.
Rounding out the field, South Dakota Mines, Colorado Christian, and Adams State were chosen ten through twelve in the standings.
The ThunderWolves open the regular season at home with a pair of nonconference matches against West Texas (Sept. 5) and Midwestern State (Sept. 7) at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
