PUEBLO, Colo. (February 7, 2018) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo football program added 47 student-athletes Wednesday on National Signing Day. The ThunderWolves inked 31 to a National Letter of Intent, added nine with an Institutional Letter of Intent and announced seven transfer student-athletes already on campus.
The class is offense heavy with 31 players on that side of the ball, then 16 listed as defensive players. The coaches focused on the line of scrimmage with this class, as they announced 14 additions on the offensive line and six on the defensive line. Like all CSU-Pueblo Head Coach John Wristen signing classes, the list has a strong contingent from Colorado with 27 hailing from the home state. The Pack continued their focus on Arizona and grabbed five from the Grand Canyon State. This class calls 12 different states home, ranging from coast to coast in Alaska and California to Florida and top to bottom with Arizona/New Mexico/Texas to Montana/Idaho.
All signees are contingent upon admission to CSU-Pueblo and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
