COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. The Colorado College hockey team announced its home game times for the 2019-20 season Thursday.
All Friday games at the Broadmoor World Arena will begin at 7:30 p.m., and all but three Saturday games will start at 6 p.m. The games on Saturday, Oct. 12 vs. Minnesota and Saturday, Dec. 14 against Denver will start at 7 p.m., while the Saturday, Jan. 25 contest against Omaha will begin at 4 p.m., followed by a special “Skate With The Tigers” event on the ice at The Broadmoor World Arena.
Once again, every game this upcoming season will be broadcast in the Pikes Peak Region on KRDO NewsRadio 105.5/92.5 FM and 1240 AM with the “Voice of the Tigers,” Ken Landau.
In head coach Mike Haviland’s five seasons behind the Colorado College bench, the Tigers have played 32 games against either the No. 1 or No. 2-ranked team in the country, and 2019-20 campaign should be no different.
In addition to the traditional NCHC opponents, including two-time defending national champion Minnesota Duluth and 2017 NCAA champion Denver, the Tigers will host former WCHA rival Minnesota as well as Michigan State this season.
