Broncos to Distribute Thanksgiving Turkeys to Families in Need on Tuesday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High

DENVER The Denver Broncos will assist the Denver Rescue Mission with their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High (Lot A).

Broncos players will help distribute more than 3,000 Thanksgiving turkeys and food boxes to pre-registered families in need. Thanksgiving boxes will include a turkey, potatoes, stuffing and other traditional Thanksgiving food and feed approximately 8-10 people.

Each year the Denver Rescue Mission collects more than 15,000 turkeys with the goal of putting a turkey on every table for Thanksgiving. The organization partners with 100 agencies including churches, schools and non-profits to bring Thanksgiving into the homes of people in need
