Broncos sign G/C Nico Falah off NY Jets' practice squad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos signed guard/center Nico Falah off the New York Jets’ practice squad and placed guard Ron Leary on injured reserve, it was announced on Monday.

Falah (6-4, 301 pounds) is a rookie offensive lineman from the University of Southern California who had spent the first seven weeks of the season competing on the Jets’ practice squad. A 26-game starter at center for the Trojans in college, Falah entered the NFL as a college free agent with Tennessee on May 11.

Falah (pronounced FAA-laa) attended St. John Bosco in Bellflower, Calif., and was born on Jan. 6, 1995.

He will wear No. 74.
