DENVER The Denver Broncos made several transactions on Monday, President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway announced.
The Broncos signed defensive lineman DeShawn Williams (6-1, 295 pounds), who competed with the Broncos in the preseason in 2018 and spent a week on the club’s practice squad. The third-year player appeared in four career games with Cincinnati in 2016 after entering the NFL with the Bengals as a college free agent from Clemson University in 2015.
In addition to adding Williams to their roster, the Broncos signed three tryout players from their rookie mini camp this past weekend: tight end Bug Howard, offensive lineman Nathan Jacobson and defensive lineman Deyon Sizer.
To make room on their 90-man roster, the Broncos waived four players: tight end Temarrick Hemingway, defensive lineman Jaylen Johnson, defensive lineman Cashaud Lyons and tackle Brian Wallace.
