Broncos announce FNL 100 Fantennial Plans & Ring of Fame Celebrations

DENVER The Denver Broncos will commemorate the NFL’s 100th season with a ‘Fantennial Weekend’ culminating in the recognition of late Owner Pat Bowlen and cornerback Champ Bailey’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Sunday (vs. Tennessee, 2:25 p.m. MDT kickoff). The team will also be celebrating Bailey’s induction as the 33rd member of the Broncos Ring of Fame.

Below are various events taking place this weekend at Empower Field at Mile High and other locations in the Denver area:

FRIDAY: NFL 100 CELEBRATION AND RING OF FAME CEREMONY, EMPOWER FIELD AT MILE HIGH’S SPORTS LEGENDS MALL

Beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Sports Legends Mall, invited season-ticket members will be treated to a reception including complimentary Coca-Cola product drinks and tailgate-style food. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take photos with the Broncos’ Pro Football Hall of Famers’ busts and the team’s three Lombardi Trophies.

From 4:30-6 p.m., several members of the Broncos Top 100 Team will participate in on-stage programming, interact with fans and receive commemorative game balls.

At 6 p.m. at the adjacent Ring of Fame Plaza, Bailey’s Ring of Fame pillar will be unveiled and Mr. Bowlen’s existing pillar will be revealed with updated text and a Pro Football Hall of Fame logo. Following the Ring of Fame ceremony, the Broncos will host a private dinner inside the United East Club to honor Mr. Bowlen and Bailey.

SATURDAY: NFL 100 YOUTH FOOTBALL FESTIVAL, LONG LAKE REGIONAL PARK (ARVADA, COLO.)

The Broncos will host a Youth Football Festival in partnership with Jefferson County Youth Football Association on Saturday at Long Lake Regional Park (17850 W. 64th Ave., Arvada, CO 80403). Members of the Broncos Top 100 team, Broncos Cheerleaders, Miles the Mascot and Stampede Drumline will be in attendance and participate in the event.

From 8 a.m.-3 p.m., at least four youth football games (with kids from Grades 1-6) will take place simultaneously beginning at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. All-day activations will include a PLAY 60 Junior Training Camp, inflatables, pictures with the teams’ three Lombardi Trophies, giveaways, food trucks and a live DJ.

Children’s Hospital Colorado, Cigna and Delta Dental are participating event sponsors in Saturday’s Youth Football Festival. Broncos alumni will be on site from 9-10 a.m. before departing to watch the team’s Saturday walkthrough at UCHealth Training Center.

SUNDAY: IN-GAME RECOGNITIONS (PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAMERS, RING OF FAMERS, BRONCOS TOP 100 TEAM MEMBERS), EMPOWER FIELD AT MILE HIGH

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to Sunday’s game at Empower Field at Mile High, presented by Coca-Cola, and be in their seats by 2 p.m. for a pregame ceremony honoring several members of the Broncos Top 100 Team. Members of the Top 100 team will be announced individually and will be on the field for pregame players introductions.

At halftime, Pro Football Hall of Fame President & CEO David Baker will present Hall of Fame Rings of Excellence to Bailey and members of the Bowlen family on behalf of Mr. Bowlen. Surrounded by several Broncos Ring of Famers in attendance, Bailey will address the crowd as his name is revealed on the Level 5 façade of Empower Field at Mile High.
