ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (Broncos Release) - The Broncos have agreed to terms with Mike Munchak as their offensive line coach, Head Coach Vic Fangio announced Monday.

President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway and the Broncos’ search committee interviewed Munchak for the team’s head-coaching position before hiring Vic Fangio to fill the opening.

Now, Munchak will join Fangio’s staff to guide the offensive line, a unit with which the 25-year NFL coaching veteran has plenty of experience.

Munchak has spent 19 of his last 22 seasons guiding the offensive lines in Tennessee (1997-2010) and Pittsburgh (2014-18). He also served as the Titans’ head coach from 2011-13.

In 16 of those 22 seasons, Munchak’s offensive line finished in the top 10 in the NFL in fewest sacks allowed. He has also coached seven different Pro Bowl offensive linemen during his career.
