COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Colorado Avalanche released their schedule for the 2019-20' season this week. One game people are already excited about, the NHL Stadium series match-up at Falcon Stadium.
"It's a great stadium and I can't wait, I have already raved about it to my family about just how cool it's going to be. I'm going to bring them all down just so they can see it. It's going to be a dream come true for sure." Said Avalanche forward Tyson Jost.
Wednesday, Jost and Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar made their way to Colorado Springs to check out the game site. Both players grew up playing on the ponds in Canada and say nothing beats playing hockey outdoors.
"Every day after school you go straight to the outdoor rink and that's where your dreams and your goals were established and made. This is going to be a really special event to play out here in such a great venue." said Jost.
The game will be played against the Los Angeles Kings on February 15th.
