Air Force will play a non-conference football game at Purdue Sept. 19, 2020, according to an announcement today from Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton. The Falcons will be playing a Big Ten opponent for the 20th time overall.

Air Force has played at Michigan (2012, 2017), Michigan State (2015) and Minnesota (2009) in recent years. The program has a 5-12-2 all-time record against teams from the Big Ten. Air Force’s last win over a Big Ten team came Sept. 6, 2003 at Northwestern, 22-21. Air Force has also played Big Ten members Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State in its history.

“We look forward to the opportunity to play a great football program, yet also the association with a tremendous world class university in Purdue,” Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun said.
