Air Force season opener vs. Stony Brook to be broadcast on Facebook

Air Force’s season opening football game vs. Stony Brook in Falcon Stadium will kick at Noon MT and be broadcast live exclusively on Facebook, a social media platform with more than 1.3 billion daily active users.

The game is part of a seven-game package announced by the Mountain West. The seven-game package features four nonconference contests and three conference showdowns. In 2017, six MW football games that aired on Facebook reached more than 17 million fans, led by Utah State at Wyoming on Oct. 14, which reached 4.6 million fans.

The complete listing of the contests that will be streamed live on Facebook are as follows:

For the third consecutive year, the Mountain West will be heavily featured in the opening day of the college football season as two of the four games scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25 will feature a MW institution. Hawai‘i travels to Colorado State for a 5:30 p.m. MT kick off on CBS Sports Network, while Wyoming plays at New Mexico State (6 p.m. MT).
