U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. Air Force and Colorado College will meet in the Faceoff at Falcon Stadium, presented by Centura Health, Monday Feb. 17, at 5 p.m. MT. This will be the first collegiate hockey game ever played in Falcon Stadium and the first outdoor varsity game ever for the Air Force hockey team.

"We are thrilled to follow the 2020 NHL Stadium Series game at Falcon Stadium with an outdoor Air Force vs. cross-town rival Colorado College game two days later on Monday night,” Director of Athletics Nathan Pine said. “The Air Force vs. Colorado College game will be a one-of-a-kind experience for our players and all hockey fans in the Colorado Springs community. I would like to thank the NHL for their support in making college hockey part of what we know will be a very special weekend."

Prior to the Faceoff at Falcon Stadium, Air Force and Colorado College will play on Friday, Feb. 14, at the Broadmoor World Arena. The game in Falcon Stadium will be the 78th meeting between the Falcons and Tigers. Air Force has won six of the last nine meetings in the series.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to play at Falcon Stadium,” head coach Frank Serratore said. “Our program has never participated in an outdoor game. This one will be extra special because it’s being played on our campus against our cross-town rival. I strongly encourage the entire front range community to attend and cheer on their local college teams, and experience what may very well be a once-in-a-lifetime event.”

Tickets are available for $25 and can be purchased online at or by contacting the Air Force ticket office at (719) 472-1895. Parking is $10 and can also be purchased online (parking on gameday will be $10 cash only). All ticketing and parking information for Faceoff at Falcon Stadium can be found at
