UPDATE: Suspects sought after woman was carjacked in broad daylight

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) - A woman was still in shock hours after she says she was carjacked in broad daylight in front of dozens of people.

Female suspect involved carjacking

"I was pumping gas and I wasn't done," recalled alleged victim Monique Henry. "He actually drove off with me hanging off the car. He drug me and then he pulled the pump."

Henry says she was pumping gas at the Kum & Go store on Fountain Mesa Rd. and Mesa Rd. Wednesday evening. Henry tells 11 News it was about 5 p.m. when a man came out of nowhere and jumped into her vehicle.

"He pretty much jumped in my car," Henry exclaimed. "Luckily my car doesn't lock so he couldn't move the car because he wasn't in drive so as I opened the door to try to figure out what he's doing he drug me across the parking lot. I'm screaming for help and he's still pulling me across the parking lot."

Henry says her purse and electronic key were in her 2011 Kia Optima. The suspect hopped in the red car and took off. The Optima is a push-start vehicle and requires the electronic key to be inside it to start.

"The cameras are going to show everything tomorrow," said Henry.

The suspect is described as either a Hispanic or white male, 25-32 year old, 5’5 to 5’8, wearing dark clothing and a possible tattoo in the neck area. There is also a younger Hispanic or white female associated with the suspect as well as an unknown driver of the suspect vehicle.
