Witnesses sought in deadly hit-and-run collision

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado State Patrol is asking anyone who witnessed a deadly hit-and-run crash in Larimer County to come forward.

A motorcycle and 2007 Pontiac G5 collided on I-25 near Fort Collins early on the morning of June 27. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and died at the scene. The driver attempted to run from the scene and was caught a short time later.

The rider has been identified as 38-year-old Joseph Kroiss of Greeley and the suspect driver as 34-year-old Kassy Winburn of Fort Collins.

Tuesday, State Patrol asked for any witnesses to the crash, as well as anyone who believes they saw either vehicle prior to the crash, to come forward.
