Windows busted out at downtown Colorado Springs Starbucks

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A Colorado Springs Starbucks is looking at thousands of dollars in repairs after a man shattered the front windows over the weekend.

Employees told 11 News partner The Gazette that the suspect threw a stool and other items into the windows, breaking three windows and leaving a sizeable crack in a fourth. A few customers were in the store at the time, but no one was hurt.

The incident was reported Saturday afternoon at the downtown location on 7 S. Tejon St. Police responded to the disturbance and took the suspect into custody.

Employees told The Gazette the man who broke the windows appeared to be homeless.

No further information has been released.
