SAN FRANCISCO (KKTV) - Wells Fargo says a power shutdown is to blame for a massive outage affecting customers nationwide.
Wells Fargo experiencing nationwide outage
We’re experiencing system issues due to a power shutdown at one of our facilities, initiated after smoke was detected following routine maintenance. We’re working to restore services as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.— Wells Fargo (@WellsFargo) February 7, 2019
The glitch has been causing headaches for customers, some who have taken to Twitter to complain about difficulties reaching customer service, issues with ATMs, and account access on phones being down.
It's not known when the outage will be resolved.
