WANTED: Suspects targeting unlocked cars in El Paso County

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the public as they investigate multiple car break-ins.

The crime happened Friday morning in a neighborhood near S. Marksheffel Boulevard and Bradley Road. The criminals reportedly hit multiple vehicles as they checked for unlocked doors of vehicles. The sheriff's office shared surveillance video that can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

"These are crimes of opportunity," the sheriff's office wrote on Twitter. "Lock your car doors and don't leave valuables in your vehicles."
