WANTED: Hit-and-run suspect who reportedly fired shots after hitting construction equipment on C-470

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Authorities are reaching out to the public for information tied to a hit-and-run crash in which the suspect reportedly fired shots soon after.

The crash happened on May 3 at about 8 p.m. Colorado State Patrol was called to a vehicle-versus-construction equipment crash along C-470 near Quebec Street. Colorado State Patrol is reporting the driver left the scene and shots were fired.

The suspect vehicle is described as white, "boxy," and "right-hand drive," between the years of 1990 and 2005. The vehicle should have minor to moderate damage on the front part. A "right-hand drive" vehicle is one with the steering wheel on the right side.
