UPDATE: Escaped juvenile who is considered a violent offender back in custody

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE 4/12/19:
Golden Police are reporting the escaped 15-year-old boy is back in custody with assistance from the Littleton Police Department.

PREVIOUS STORY 4/11/19:

Authorities are asking the public for help in locating an escaped 15-year-old boy who used to live in El Paso County. The boy is considered a violent offender.

The alert for Devon Brock went out Thursday at about 2:30 p.m. He escaped custody Thursday morning. He is a resident of Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center near Golden. While staff were transporting him to get a state ID and social security information to transition to a step-down facility he escaped.

The escape was reported at about 10:17 a.m.

He is described as black, five-foot-four and about 110 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a blue pullover shirt. If you see him you're asked to call 911 immediately.
