WANTED: Driver of car in deadly hit-and-run crash

PARKER, Colo. (KKTV) - Authorities in Colorado are hoping the public can help them track down the driver of a vehicle in a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened on July 4.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office shared pictures of the vehicle involved on Tuesday. The sheriff's office was called to Pine Drive and Centennial Drive at about 6:25 in the morning on Thursday in Parker. The cyclist, Edward "Chuck" Vogel, was found in front of Parker Core Knowledge Charter School. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

The vehicle was found abandoned with a Colorado license plate. The sheriff's office is still asking for help in identifying the driver and would like any witnesses, or anyone with surveillance video along Pine Drive and W. Main Street near the Victorian Village Townhomes, to contact them.
