Police arrested Arrellano Thursday night after he turned himself in at the Pueblo County Detention Center.
Officers said he could be connected to at least two other robberies that happened in Pueblo last month.
“I commend my detectives for their solid investigative work on this case,” said Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk M. Taylor. “Their persistent and diligent work on this case led to the quick identification of the suspect and his subsequent arrest. Great job by all involved.”
Arrellano has been charged with two count of aggravated robbery and booked in to the Pueblo County Jail.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office identified a suspect in an attempted robbery case.
Authorities shared a photo of 26-year-old Stefan Arrellano Tuesday evening. An arrest warrant was issued for him and he may be tied to multiple robberies.
The attempted robbery happened on Aug. 28 at the Dollar Tree in Pueblo West at 1024 Market Plaza. Employees told the sheriff's office a man with a red bandana covering his face threatened them with a knife and demanded money. The employees refused and the suspect left the store.
Detectives found evidence possibly tying Arrellano to this crime and at least two armed robberies in the City of Pueblo.
