16-year-old arrested for shooting and killing another teen in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two teens have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy.

Police were called to the shooting scene in the 4200 block of Deerfield Hills Road just before 9 p.m. on Nov. 5, where they found the body of Luis Starkey.

On Nov. 9, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Because of the suspect's age, his name is not being released. On Monday, a 16-year-old girl was arrested for the same death investigation.

Police are asking for the public's help in this investigation. If anyone has information on the shooting death they are asked to call police at 719-444-7000.
