PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A vehicle involved in a Denver theft case was found in Pueblo early Sunday morning.

Police say Officer Titus Mote was patrolling the north side of the city when he noticed a car with its door wide open in a motel parking lot. After running plates, Mote learned there had been a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for that exact vehicle earlier in the year. In addition to theft, the vehicle was involved in a police eluding case.

Peering into the car, Mote saw drugs, a large knife and a 9mm handgun.

The two occupants of the vehicle were found wandering the halls of the motel. The female half had an existing warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody.

A search warrant on the vehicle is pending. Denver officers are expected in Pueblo Monday to investigate further.
