U-Haul truck plows through 3 cars and smashes into Colorado Springs fire station

Firefighters believe the driver of a U-Haul truck suffered a medical emergency before crashing into three cars and a fire station.
The crash happened Friday afternoon at Colorado Springs Fire Station 7 near Palmer Park Boulevard and N. Academy Boulevard.
The driver was transported to the hospital. The condition of the person was not immediately available.
Firefighters told 11 News on scene they believe the truck hit three parked cars, slamming one of the parked cars through the garage of the fire station. No one else was injured. It isn't clear what the medical emergency was.
The damage done to the fire station is being assessed.
The crash remains under investigation.
