A teen is wanted for a number of felony charges for running over his own grandmother in Pueblo County.

According to the sheriff's office, the 67-year-old grandma was seriously hurt Thursday morning when her 18-year-old grandson was trying to steal a pick-up truck. Investigators say the grandma tried taking the keys out of the truck to stop him from driving away when he put the vehicle in reverse and knocked her over. Her grandson then reportedly put the vehicle in drive and ran his own grandma over.

Deputies located the vehicle in the city and as they attempted to pull it over, the teen crashed the vehicle, backed up toward the deputy who attempted to make the stop, then sped away.

The crime happened in the 1400 block of 27th lane. The grandson, Fabian Quintana, is now wanted for vehicular assault, vehicular eluding, aggravated motor vehicle theft and reckless driving.

Quintana is described as a Hispanic man, 5'8", 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call 719-542-STOP.
